Tree of Life Labyrinth

We named our labyrinth the Tree of Life Labyrinth to remind walkers of a tree, deeply rooted in the earth and reaching high to the sun, connecting all of God’s creation.  The Tree of Life Labyrinth, situated under two majestic live oak trees, inspires the spiritual journey, calling people to nurture their spirit and grow in wholeness.  As an ancient tool, the labyrinth is used to clear the mind, guide inner healing, and deepen self-knowledge. It is a pathway to hear God speaking, walking in meditation, contemplation, and prayer.

This outdoor 36-foot, five-circuit, Cretan-style labyrinth, walkways, memorial prayer garden and worship space were built in October 2016; landscaping and grounds were completed in spring of 2017.

If you are in search of a place to renew your spirit, find renewal from life's stress, or to pause in quiet reflection and prayer, walking the labyrinth offers comfort and renewal.  All are welcome.

The greenscape in the labyrinth and prayer garden area was designed with native Texas plants in keeping with our natural environment. A large moss stone altar is central to the worship space for outdoor services and meditation groups. The labyrinth design was created by Houston artist Reginald C. Adams supported by local labyrinthians.

We have received many generous donations and are grateful for the abundant blessings from our many donors and several memorial gifts. The prayer garden includes a memorial stone in memory of Albert L. Ebaugh, and a brick walkway forms a permanent memorial to loved ones in our community and beyond.

The labyrinth and garden may be used at any time by appointment or during worship hours.  All are welcome here.  Please email the church office to arrange a visit.
