Formation, Fellowship, and Outreach
We work to engage with our faith, deepen our relationships, and care for our neighbors through formation, fellowship, and outreach.
Formation
Adult Sunday School
Sundays at 9 am, this group meets to further their understanding of God, Christianity, and the church. (Kids and teens are welcome to join!)
Children's Chapel
Kids ages 4-10 are invited to attend children's chapel with Miss Liz between the Collect of the Day and the Passing of the Peace during 10 am worship.
Altar Guild
Members of the Altar Guild prepare the altar for worship for Sunday morning service and other weekly offerings.
Service in Worship
Worship is the heart of our community. Kids, teens, and adults share their gifts during weekly services.
Daughters of the King (DOK)
The Daughters of the King St. Clare Chapter is a women's religious order comprised of members who devote themselves to prayer, study, and service. The DOK meets monthly at Grace and hosts seasonal retreats.
Men of Grace
The Men of Grace meet weekly on Zoom to support one another and pray for the community. They also participate in seasonal service activities.
Women's Group
The Women's Group meets weekly on Zoom to support one another and pray for the community.
Contemplative Prayer
Time for quiet prayer and reflection is offered each Thursday at 5pm in the sanctuary.
Seasonal Book and Bible Studies
Book and Bible studies are offered throughout the year during weekdays.

- Lectors read the Scriptures aloud
- Prayer Leaders invite the Prayers of the People
- Acolytes, Crucifers, Thurifers, and Vergers help direct worship and minister at the Altar
- Eucharistic Ministers assist in the administration of communion

20s-40s "Young-ish" Group
Hang out and catch up with fellow young adults at a monthly hangout at Watershed Restaurant.
Spring Tea and Christmas Tea
Hosted by our resident English tea expert, our seasonal tea parties are an occasion to have fun with fellow parishioners, extended family, and neighbors.
Seasonal Musical Events and Parish Parties
We love to come together for good food, good music, and fellowship.
Grace Episcopal School
Our day school hosts joint events throughout the year, including Trunk-or-Treat and Shrove Tuesday pancakes.
Open AA Meeting
Tuesdays at 6:30 pm, Deacon Dawn hosts an open Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting in our Flex Room - you do not need to have a problem with alcohol or drugs to attend. The discussions cover spiritual experiences, spiritual growth, and how we understand God or a Higher Power in our lives through the lens of the AA Big Book and our own experience, strength, and hope. Community Garden
Organic fruits and vegetables are grown in the community garden and orchard for our neighbors. Every second Saturday is garden work morning.
Braes Interfaith Ministries (BIM)
Co-founded by Grace Episcopal Church in partnership with the interfaith congregations of Southwest Houston, BIM offers short-term and emergency assistance through their food pantry, thrift store, and financial assistance programs. For more information, please visit the BIM website.
Grace2Go Bags
Emergency food and toiletries bags are available to those who need them, offered as a stop-gap until our neighbors can get to BIM for more assistance.
Interfaith Committee
Grace partners with local religious organizations for educational events and shared meals that help us learn about and build connections with our neighbors of different faiths.'
Pumpkin Patch
Our annual pumpkin patch supports farmers in the Navajo Nation, BIM, and Grace's ministries. It is a great opportunity to spend time with fellow parishioners, school families, and neighbors in Grace's large front yard while celebrating the bounty of the season. We sell pumpkins, have special events, and even trick-or-treat in the patch.
Houston Pride
Grace partners with our fellow LGBTQIA+ inclusive Episcopal congregations to celebrate Houston Pride each year.
