Plan Your Visit

Wherever you are on your faith journey, there is a place for you at Grace.

OUR CHURCH COMMUNITY IS WELCOMING, INCLUSIVE, DIVERSE...

People from more than 15 countries around the world call Grace home.  We are young and old, rich and poor, gay and straight; we speak lots of languages and cook food with lots of flavors. We are creative, interesting, caring and fun. You will enjoy getting to know us and we will gladly welcome you as part of our community.

At Grace Episcopal, we go and grow together: loving, praying, serving, and connecting. Be a part of this!

Worship Is At The Heart Of All That We Do

Weekly Worship Services:  Sundays: Main Service - ONLINE - 10am, Evening Service 5:30pm

Sundays

We have two times for worship offered on Sundays. Our main service at 10am is currently meeting online only, and our evening service at 5:30pm will begin gathering in the Labyrinth garden in July (stay tuned for details).

We often use the word liturgy to describe our worship. It comes from a Greek word that is loosely translated to mean “the works of the people.” When we gather for worship, we bring all that we are--all the people we know, all the places we have been, all the things we’ve seen, all the works we have done, everything!—and gather it up into an expression of worship that we can lift together. We use ancient rituals and modern language to guide us in times of worship, shaped by The Book of Common Prayer.

Visiting With Children

When we begin meeting together again, Nursery Care will again be offered on Sunday mornings for babies through age three.

Children ages four through 5th Grade are invited to Children's Chapel for a 30-minute portion of the worship service.  At Children’s Chapel, they’ll learn about the day’s scripture readings and follow a version of the liturgy that's tailored to their age. An announcement will be made when it is time for kids and leaders to depart to their classroom, and then they will return to participate in a portion of the service together with everyone.

Children's Chapel will be on Sunday Evenings when we begin in-person services in July.

What To Wear

The most important thing to know about us is that we always make a place for everybody. So, it doesn't really matter what you wear. When you worship with us, be comfortable in whatever you choose to wear. You'll find some of the people around you dressed in casual clothes and others will dress up a little more.  Come as you are!

Ritual Actions

Our worship together follows patterns and rituals that help us worship together as one group. We generally stand for singing and to hear the Gospel read aloud. During prayers, some people prefer to stand, others kneel or sit. Some people make the sign of the cross on themselves as a physical way of praying; others bow, hold their palms upwards in front of them, or engage in other personally meaningful actions during the service. Though we observe common rituals together, there is plenty of opportunity to express your faith in a uniquely personal way.
