Serving Meyerland, Willow Meadows, Westbury, and all our neighbors in Southwest Houston, Grace Episcopal Church had its first annual Pumpkin Patch from October 11 to October 31, 2023. Stay tuned for information about future pumpkin patches! Cash and card accepted.
Stop by 4040 W. Bellfort Ave. in Houston, Texas for the perfect pumpkin and photo opportunities. On Saturdays, we'll have special events like a pet blessing, live music, and food for sale. Trick-or-treat in the patch on Halloween!
We are conveniently located near Shearn Elementary School, the RISE Soccer Club, and Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Our church and day school serve the greater Meyerland area and the Med Center neighborhood.
A portion of proceeds benefit our charity partner, Braes Interfaith Ministries.

FAQ
Why Pumpkins?
Grace's mission is "to share the unconditional and reconciling love of God, and to embody that love in our life together by growing in generous hospitality, diverse worship, and inclusive ministry.” We always seek ways to embrace and include all people, with a specific focus on our own neighborhood. Our members live nearby and our day school has nurtured several generations of local children and families. We see the pumpkin patch as a gathering place for the community. Feel free to hang out, take pictures, and have fun!
Where do the pumpkins come from?
We partner with a nonprofit agricultural organization dedicated to supporting the livelihood of the Navajo Nation: "In cooperation with the Navajo Nation, we grow 1,200 acres or approximately 2 square miles of pumpkins and employee over 700 Native Americans during our harvest months of September and October. We also have a full time off-season NM staff that is comprised of entirely Native Americans. This has a positive and lasting impact on a region with 42% unemployment."
When will pumpkins become available?
The Pumpkin Patch will open on October 11th and remain open through Halloween on October 31st. Volunteers will staff the patch for 8 hours each day, including afternoon and evening hours each day.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and credit card.
What does the pumpkin patch support?
Most of the proceeds generated from pumpkin sales support the farmers. Remaining proceeds will be shared between educational initiatives for children, other ministries of the congregation, and our local outreach partner, Braes Interfaith Ministries (BIM), which provides food, clothing, and financial assistance to our neighbors in Southwest Houston.
